I didn't even know where to begin...So I looked through my pictures and picked a few of my favorites.

The boys had a fun hunting season this year. No deer/or Elk for them but made some great memories. Maybe next year Clint.=P

On December 13Th, We celebrated 3 Birthdays. Mariah and Jordan are now 9 and Carter is 7! Wow time flies!!

Disney On Ice!!!

Friday night I took the kids to Disney On Ice. It was so fun!! I love going to those ice shows. It is so amazing to watch! I was just going to take the girls this year, but Lane saw a commercial for the show and was so into it, I just could not leave him home. So we called and got him a ticket too. His ticket was for a different section, so he just sat on my lap. We had the best seats. We were the first row in the stands. Right behind the chairs on the ice. It was great!!! (Thanks to Erica, she bought the tickets right then they went on sale) I was so glad I took Lane too, He loved it so much! Every time people clapped he would ask "Is it done?" He didn't want it to end. Too cute!

I told him before I told the girls...thinking maybe he would be sad, and he said "Thanks Mom for not making me go, That would be lame to watch a bunch of fairies." He cracks me up. Even at Disneyland, the shows were not his favorite. He is SOOO Clint!

More Pumpkin Patch Fun!

Yesterday the kiddos and I took advantage of 1/2 days conference week. We headed to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. We went to Spooners, and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was so nice!

Fun Full Weekend!!

I can't even believe that my "NEWBORN" is old enough to go hunting with Dad. What is even more weird, is that Carter went his first year when he was two, and now Lane is 3 and I think he is WAY to little. But I guess not, because Clint said he was a little trooper he even hiked.

This is the picture Clint sent me through text. Out in the woods. I just wanted to squeeze them. So cute. Even Lane has a gun between his legs. His BB Gun.:) Lane cracks me up!!
So, Due to it being the last weekend before Halloween, Clint (The great guy that he is) cut his hunting weekend short to take us to Remlinger Farms. I was so excited! We went with my cousin Jenny's family. The weather got pretty crappy half way through the day...but that didn't slow us down.

OK, So I got a wild hair. Kevin said to me "Come on lets go climb the wall" To bad he didn't join me! But I have to say I was pretty proud! I make it to the top. I forgot until I got 3/4 of the way up that I am afraid of heights. I was literally shaking. But right when I reached for the red button, I fell. Anyone that know me, knows I am not to graceful. So when I fell, my pant leg got caught on one of the hooks. I was hanging upside down. Great sight to see! Thank goodness it was quick, no pictures to prove it! LOL! I hit my wrist and knee some where on the way down. So after a couple of bruises, I can say I climbed a rock wall! I could have never of done that last year!

It was such a fun day! Finished the day of with a caramel apple. Lane was eating his with his eyes closed. We were all wet and cold, and all pooped out!

I have totally abandoned my blog, I am So SORRY Alysa, and all! I have to admit, I am a Facebook junkie! I have also been really bad lately about taking pictures. I broke my camera at the dunes in Sept., so I only have Clint's camera to work with and it is not my favorite.:(

Well, Anyways I have not been up to much. Just every day life. Kids are busy in school and Clint just started hunting season last weekend. No luck for him, hoping for a big buck next weekend.:) That would make him a very happy man!

I am always busy doing something but now that I sit down to make this blog post I can't think of anything that I have been doing... I have been doing a lot of baking. I love to smell yummy treats in the oven this time of year. So I have been doing a lot of that.

With all the kids in school, I gets lots of time with my little man Lane! He is so much fun! We play all day. What would do with out him?

I had a get together a couple of weeks ago at my sister Lydia's house, and we had photo shoot. (Always FUN)

My best friend LeAnn (from High School) went to Our friend Lindsay's (From High School) wedding . It is always so great to see old friends and catch up.

A Great Anninversary Weekend!!

This last Friday Clint and I celebrated Our 10 anniversary. We started a great weekend off at the Jason Aldean concert. It was at the Puyallup Fair, It was a rodeo and concert in one. Let me just say Jason knows how to rock! It was an amazing show!!

Erica and I. We spoiled our guys, we bought new "Hick" shirts for the concert. Clint just loved that!

Saturday morning Clint and I left on a little night away. We weren't quite sure where we were headed, so we headed East. It is just so fun to be alone.

Our truck lead us to Snoqualmie falls. It was under construction, so we could not walk down to the bottom.:( but it was fun anyways. And so beautiful!

From there we went shopping in North Bend, had a wonderful dinner in Ellensburg. They have a new Roadhouse Restaurant. It was so good! A must stop, if you are ever traveling through. Then we went for a walk around a lake. We stayed in Ellensburg. Did more shopping in Ellensburg and Yakima. Had a yummy lunch and then headed back to the kids. It was so great! I start to miss our entertainment (The kids) after a short while. I always say, what do people do with out kids. It is so quiet.

So let me review ~ Clint was so romantic! For all of you who know Clint, Don't pass out while you read this. Clint took me shopping, letting me try on clothes ( while he hung out and he also gave me his opinion, wow), took me on a walk around a lake (it being his suggestion), took pictures of us. Clint was a out of his skin! LOL! He was amazing!! I don't mean for it to sound like he is normally a jerk, he is just normally a manly guy. No time for shopping, usually says "looks fine Babe, lets go", When ever I pull out the camera he fights me for a smile. etc. It was so great to be pampered!

I love you babe!! YOU TRULY ARE THE BEST! Can't believe we have 10 years under our belt. Time really does fly! Many many more to come!

Last friday, Uncle Matt called and asked if he could borrow Carter for the afternoon. He wanted to take him riding. What a lucky little guy, what uncle does that? Takes off work early for his little nephew? Carter was so excited!

Here they go! I just thought the big and little bike was so cute in the back of the truck.

Summer is over.:( I can't believe I have 3rd graders and that Carter is a big 1st grader!! He is to too little to be gone all day. My girls are getting too old too. It is such a big change for me, and I DON'T do well with change. I would love if they would just stay little!!

The girls were so excited to go to Ptarmigan school ( which is 3-5 grade). Big change for them. Carter was a little nervous to be at the primary school all by himself. He kept saying "I would rather stay home with you, Mom." Which is bitter sweet to me.:) He did really good though...No tears. For him anyways. (Always hard for mom)

I will sure miss them! Lane and I have a quiet house. Anyone want to go to lunch?

Our Journey to Disneyland....

I really believe that we are the luckiest people, Clint's Dad Scot and Aurora took us on a trip of a lifetime. We went on a 9 day trip to Cali. We stayed in their motor home with them, The Diddy's went in their trailer and family friends in their motor home. We had a group of 19 people, 11 kids. It was wonderful! We got the 5 day pass to Disneyland and California Adventure. The kids were in heaven! And I do have to add, the weather was great. A lot cooler than it was a home, I think our top temp was like 92, but mostly 85ish.:)

Clint and Carter, It was so great to have Clint around for that long of a time. This was his first vacation since our honeymoon almost 10 years ago.

Some Summer Randomness.....

We have been on the go, go, go. I have a lot of random pictures I thought I would share. We have been enjoying the sun!

This was a few weeks ago, Erica took the kids and me to the zoo. She has the membership, so it was a fun free trip.

We went to the ocean with Erica and her kids. We stayed in her in-laws cabin. Clint was gone in Alaska at the time, so it was fun to get away and pass some time.

Clint is a lucky guy. He just got home from a King Salmon fishing trip in Alaska. He was gone for 1 week. He went with 4 other guys from Rodarte (2 of my Uncles and 2 cousins). The 5 of them went with Delta 's crew, So lucky Clint... his Dad went too, along with Clint's Uncle and lots of cousins. It was a trip of a lifetime. He made some great memories!

Clint turned another year wiser. We celebrated last Friday with a little dinner at our house. We also celebrated Father's day too. Clint is a lucky man, he got to attend this years trip to Alaska. Delta Tech (His Dad's work) and Rodarte always send some guys up to go fishing for a week. And this year he was asked to go. He was SO excited, the best part he gets to spend a week with his dad. That is always a treat! I am just so excited to eat a bunch of Salmon, Yum! So I am sure I will be posting some great pictures when he returns. Anyways, that is why we celebrated Father's day early.

We completed a fun year of baseball. It was a great time for all 3 kids. They learned so much, I was really impressed. We got to get to know some really fun people too. It was kinda sad to see it end.

We went on Carter's field trip on Monday. But first I have to share a picture...last week I helped the class make their shirts that they were going to wear. They painted a real fish, and then we stamped them on the shirt. Lane got to make one too. He loved it! He kept saying "can I take my fish home", too funny...they stunk so bad!

I just can not, and do not want to believe that my baby is already 3. I feel like I just brought him home from the hospital. I wish I could just freeze him to stay little. He is so much fun...He truly completes our family. Lane brings so much joy to all of us. The little things that they say at this age is the best. For example, as I am sitting here typing. He is playing at my feet with his new toy. I just told him to be quiet, mind you it is 10:30. (Spoiled, still up, when all the other kids are in bed...Times sure change, Our other 3 kids were never up past 8:30 at this age, or any other age. He is my buddy when Clint is gone.:)) And he said, "It is OK mom, Carter is asleep, he is asleep hard." ( asleep hard= sound asleep. He is so smart, but so naughty LOL!)

My little diva, Jordy. I was lookin back at my posts and I never just share about Jordan. She is getting so big! I feel like she is turning into a little tweenager. Is that what you call it? I was so excited the other morning...She is starting to not let me get very creative with her hair, she thinks things look to babyish. But she came in the bathroom and asked for 2 buns. I almost fell over with excitement. She looks too cute!

She is so special! She is such a awesome big sister. Mariah too, but this is about Jordan.:) I am so thankful for my huge helpers!

We had a fun weekend, but why does it go extra fast when it is sunny. I love warm weather! We went to my sister Lydia's house on Saturday to celebrate all our spring birthdays. There is so many of us now, we have one big party. It was so great being outside to enjoy the weather and company.

About 3 months ago I went in to the doctor for a physical and I learned that I had elevated blood pressure. I pretty much freaked out. I, being almost 30 couldn't except that. With my Dad dying at 53 of a heart attack...that was not the route I wanted. So I have been changing my habits. I have been eating better and working out. I have not posted any of this on here, afraid of failure. But I told myself at 50 lbs I could share with all my blog buddies. So here you go 50 lbs later! It has been a total life change. And I am doing this so my kids will have a mom for a long time.

My journey is still going strong. I first set out with a goal of 88 pounds in mind. That is the weight when I married Clint. So I still have 38 to go! Then of course the toughest goal to maintain it. I could use all the advice or tips any of you may have. Please share! I will keep you posted. Wish me luck!

Our 3 little stars have begun. They are going so great. Mariah and Jordan are on the same team, This is their first year playing, and they are both learning so fast. Mariah has every parent talking about her pistol of an arm. Jordan has come so far too...Great job girls. They haven't yet had a game due to our awful weather. 2 rain outs... Yuck!! I am sure I will have a lot more posts on this. Games 4 nights a week. It is kinda crappy...The games are on the 4 nights Clint is gone. He is gonna try to drive home to catch a few games.

Carter had his first game last Tuesday. He did so great. He is quite the little hitter!

Friday, Clint wanted to spend some extra time with the kids, So we played hookie from school.:) We loaded up the bikes, packed a lunch and headed down to the Buckley property. It was a great time. The kids felt so special!

I can't believe that I am 30. I always thought that sounded so old...and now I am there. I still feel young.:) I had a wonderful lunch with My Mom in law, Sue, Erica and the kids. Thanks ladies! It was defiantly a different birthday for me, since it fell on a Wednesday Clint was not home. It was sad, to not only me, but the kids. They sang Happy Birthday to me that night, and when I looked up the girls had big tears in their eyes. They said "It is just not the same with out Dad." It broke my heart. I was so excited to wake up on Thursday...I told my kids we will just pretend my special day is Thursday.

My sister and her kids came to celebrate. We had a slumber party. She made me a cake and spoiled me with way to many presents. Thanks Sis! And the best part Clint was home to join in!

My cute husband was so sweet. He planned a birthday party for me on Saturday night at the park. It was a wonderful BBQ with so many people I love so much! I felt so loved! He has never done something like that before. Thank you to all of you...You made my birthday special.

Thanks Clint ...You really out did yourself, you sure made up for being gone on Wednesday.:) Thanks Powers family, Diddys, Lawsons, Abenroths, J and L Rodarte, Dad and Aurora Thomas and Sarah and Khylee. I love you all so much!!

I haven't been on the computer as much a usual lately. I don't feel like we have been up to much. But here are some random pictures from the last 2 weeks. We had a great spring break, I love when the kids are home with me.

Tiny Newborn Lane moved on to a big boy bike. He went all the way around the block the first time on it. Good job Lane!

We went and spent 2 nights down in Oregon with Clint on our break. The kids love it down there. It is kinda like staying in a hotel, and our kids love that. The weather was awful, so no fun outdoor activities.:( But it was still a good time.

This was a lunch at McDonald's ( they have a huge play zone).

Clint worked out at his Dad's this past weekend. He is getting ready to build a barn, so falling trees , clearing and digging out for the foundation.

He had a big helper....Until he pooped out.

Clint's Dad's cow had her baby. The kids got a kick out of it. She is so tiny. Here she is 48 hours old.

And I have been bad about taking pictures. We went to go see Clint last Tuesday night. It was fun to see where he has been, the kids got a kick out of his apartment. Lane calls it "Daddy's work house."

We have had sick kids too. Everyone has a cold, and Mariah and Lane had 48 hours of that awful fever. We are hoping it stops with them. I know it has been going around every one's house. I had to pull out a happy picture.

It has been another quiet week, with no Clint. He is now working 4~ 10's. So he will be home an extra day, Whoa Hoo! So excited to see him tonight.

We have been enjoying Our Cousin Jenny's family. Her man joined Clint in Oregon for a couple of weeks, so we had them over for dinner one night and last night we went to her house, so I could help her make curtains. That is always fun.:)

On Friday, I helped in Carter's class for his Valentines party. Mariah and Jordan have early release on Fridays so they got to attend his party too. They got their party and his, lucky girls!

On Friday night Matt and Erica watched our kids, Clint and I went to dinner at The Ram. It was delish and great to have some alone time with my man! (Hard to come by these days, We are surviving, but We really miss having him around. I think I miss Our time the most when the kids go to bed. 3 weeks down...3 months-8 months to go?:/)

Saturday, We had a candle light dinner at home. Nothing like a homemade roast with all the fixings. The kids loved it!

We finished the night off with a movie. We went with the Diddy's and Sarah and Khylee. The boys saw...Mall Cop and the girls saw Confessions of a Shopaholic. We all loved both. After a long fun day with Dad, the girls were a little pooped out! Only 15 minutes left of the movie too! They are just like me...My Mom used to say I could even sleep in the bowling alley.

Jordan the next morning: " Mom, I am so mad at myself, I want to go see that movie again. It was so good, but I was so tired!

Mom: "We will have to rent it in a couple of months.":)

It was a fun, but fast weekend. Clint was glad to be home. He is the fun Dad that comes home to spoil us. We officially have a weekend Daddy/Husband. The Oregon job has begun and Clint is on it.:( We are not sure how long he will be a part of it, but the job is supposed to be about 8 months long. He left on Monday morning at about 5, it is about 2 1/2 hours away. This week he is staying in a hotel and then I guess My Uncle David and Clint will be staying in a apartment that they are renting for them.

You all know how addicted I am to my Clint, this will be a huge adjustment. ( I think Clint working nights last summer helped though, I was able to learn how to sleep alone. ) I have the better end of the deal though, At least I have the kids. He sounded so board on the phone last night. 4 kids = never a dull moment.

One great thing I made myself learn before his departure. To make a fire! You might say, just now you learned? Yes! I must say I can do a lot of things, but I sucked at that! The ticket for me is to cut my own wood, so they are small enough that I don't smother the fire. I have my house so toasty! I am so proud, I love it!

Monday, MLK day, The kids and I went to see the movie, Marley and Me. It was a all around good family movie. Funny, sad, and just cute.

We had a pretty low key week, Went walking with my friend LeAnn and her girls. It was super cold, but fun!

Carter had a dentist appt. and he did pretty good. He is my kid that hates the dentist, (freaks out, actually) But it was just a cleaning and it went pretty smoothly.

Clint got to go Pheasant and Chukar hunting on Friday - Saturday night in Oregon. Rodarte took 12 lucky guys, Clint said it was a trip of a lifetime. He had a blast! He didn't take any pictures, sorry!

Sunday I got to see my childhood friend. We have been friends since we were 3 years old. We grew up in the same neighborhood. She is having her first baby, Baby Owen, so I got to attend her baby shower. It was so great to see Jenn and her mom Liz.

She has 7 weeks left, I am not sure where that is gonna go on her tiny little body. She looks so adorable!

Monster Trucks Ralley.....

On Friday night we headed to the Tacoma Dome for the Monster Truck show. It is one the kids favorite things of the year. It was a great time with lots of family!

I have to mention one sad thought though, During the show we saw a bunch on chaos in the distance in another section. We weren't sure if it was a fight or what, and later we learned that a 6 year old boy and a man, got hit in the head by debris off a monster truck. On the news it said that later the little boy died. Our thoughts and prayers go out to that family.

Finally a Pajama Party...

Carter finally got to have his pajama party at school. It was supposed to be right before Christmas break and due to all the snow it got canceled. After the break his teacher rescheduled it, and due to the flooding it got canceled again. Crazy Weather, Jordan "Carter's poor pajama party." Well anyways last Thursday was the lucky day. All the kids got to make a snowman craft, frost and eat cookies and watch a movie. Lucky kids!

Lane wasn't to sure of the pajama thing. Carter got out of his clothes and into pajamas to go to school (Afternoon kindergarten), Lane thought they had to go to bed. So we brought his pj's in a bag just in case he changed his mind. When he saw all the kids he excitedly put them on. Too cute!

We had a another good weekend... Friday night we were invited to my Uncle Frank's 59th birthday. It was only for adults, My kids went to Grandpa's house which is always fun for them. They didn't want to come home ( I think my newborn missed me though.) His 9 kids put it all together, they made prime rib and chicken sit down dinner with all the fixings. We played Bunco after dinner, I think that there was about 60 people there. Great time, Thanks Cousins!!

On Saturday the kids and I had a home day, those don't happen very often at our house on the weekend. Lounging, playing rock band, hungry hungry hippo (one of our new favorites), playing outside (which was nice, no rain). Clint was gone all day coaching wrestling.

On Sat. night we were invited to Jared and Lanette's for dinner. Jared wanted to challenge me to my new addiction, American Idol on the Wii. It was a great competition. I think Lanette won the first game and then it came down to me and Jared for the 2nd one. I don't mean to sound boastful, But I believe I TOOK HIM DOWN!!! I got some great shots of him though. Always a fun time with them!

It was a great relaxing weekend. :)

We are still safe...however we are evacuated. We are staying with Clint's sister Erica and her family. We think our house will be OK, Our neighborhood is set up pretty high. I believe and hope they are just being cautious, do to the fact that the only way into Orting is to go over a bridge and they are hoping for no bridge damage. They do not want anyone trapped there. We have prepared for the worst, we are sand bagged and everything is placed up high. Everything with value is with us. Please keep us and our little town in your prayers.

Sun Mountain Lodge!

We were invited to go to Sun Mountain Lodge with all the Supervisors for Rodarte Construction. We all met on Monday morning and headed off for our adventure. It was a beautiful, romantic place. We had a buffet steak/rib dinner that night. Then we got pretend money and had a casino night. The top 7 winners won, and Clint was #7, so he got $50.

The next morning, We thought we would give Ice Skating a try. It was been 15 years since I have done that. It was a blast.

On the 26th, We went to Matt and Erica's to spend Christmas with Clint's Dad. It was a yummy breakfast!

I am not sure if I mentioned before, Grandpa got the kids The Wii, for their birthday a couple of weeks ago. So for Christmas, they always get so spoiled. Great toys, and the cutest clothes. But to go with all that.....ROCKBAND!

Christmas Eve....

Christmas Eve we went to My Sister Alysa's house and had a wonderful breakfast. We exchanged gifts, She ALWAYS spoils us! Mariah and Jordan got guitars. They had been asking for one all year. I got a radio for my kitchen (the kind that mounts under the cupboard) it is so exciting! Now I bake and sing my heart out. Thanks for everything Powers family!

Then, we headed to Clint's Mom's house and had dinner. Clint's brother Kevin and his family were here from Reno. My kids really enjoyed seeing their cousins.

On the 23rd, We went to the Lawson's and had craft, baking day with them and the Sandovals. This year instead of buying presents for each other, we made memories. It was a great hit for the kids.

We made tree ornaments, hand wreaths, necklaces, frosted cupcakes, and cookies. They even played in the snow for 20 mins between each craft, So the Mom's could prepare for the next thing. Thanks for the fun ladies!

Can you believe how much snow we got? Clint and the kids loved it. I enjoy it for a little while, but I don't really drive in it, so I get cabin fever. Uncle Matt built the kids a huge hill, with the backhoe we all sled down. It was a blast.

My kids had a great birthday! This year we had a simple birthday but it turned out fun and not a lot of work. We went to McDonalds in Maple Valley so all the kids could play in the big toy. My kids got really spoiled, as usual!

It feels like yesterday, but it has already been 8 years! I was scared, nervous and excited! I was about to deliver twin baby girls! I had nothing to worry about, They were 5 weeks early, Jordan was 6.9lbs and Mariah was 5.13lbs, They were Beautiful and Healthy. And we were blessed X2!

For Mariah and Jordan 2ND birthday, we gave them the best present ever! A new baby brother! Carter was born on their 2ND birthday!

He was such a good baby! The 4 of us could not love him more!
From day one Mariah and Jordan were little mothers to him. Looking back I remember being busy, but the thing I remember most is all the laughter and love that little babies bring into a home! I wish I could go back and live that time again, I don't want to forget the little things. They grow up so fast!!

Yesterday, Our Newborn got his teeth cleaned at the dentist. I wasn't sure how he would do only being 2 years old, 6 months ago he let them look, but not touch. He changed so much. He let them do everything! I was so impressed. He kept saying, "She has tools like Daddy?" What a big boy!

He got 2 prizes and a backpack. He was the most excited about the new toothbrush and floss picks.:)

The Newborn is in the No Cavity Club....Probably the first newborn to join (most don't have teeth, lol).

Update on Wrestling.....

Carter is still going strong....He had a tough week 2 weeks ago. He was in a group with 8 year old advance kids, he did good but he did lose. He got a metal though. So this past weekend he was discouraged, he had a hard time clearing his head and getting back in it. He did get one win! Here is Jared pumping him up...after he won!

Yesterday Lane and I joined Carter's class for his Thanksgiving feast. It was so fun. Carter gets so excited when Lane joins the class. Lane fits right in with all the kids, you don't even know he is there.

Pumpkin Bars (Cake)

4 eggs
2c. Sugar
2c. Pumpkin
3/4c. Melted Margarine
2c. Flour
2tsp. Baking Powder
1tsp. Baking Soda
1tsp. Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Cream eggs and sugar
Add rest of ingredients in order given
Beat until well mixed
Pour into greased 11x17. (Cookie sheet with edges, I guess they call it a Jelly Roll Pan?)

Bake for 25 mins. Then Cool

Frosting

3oz of Cream Cheese
6 TBSP. Butter
1tsp. Vanilla
1TBSP Milk
2 c. Powdered Sugar

Enjoy!

WHAT? My Newborn in a Toddler bed?

OK, I know you are all thinking, why is she taking her newborn out of a crib and into a toddler bed? He should be in a bassinet! Well if you are thinking that, I AGREE! Well, Clint has been telling me it is time to take the side of the crib off and make it a toddler bed. So I guess he won. SO SAD!! But he loved it! He looked so cute!

Our Weekend....

This was a really quiet weekend for us....No wrestling! So It was perfect day to work around the house. We got a new bathroom door the last weekend, so I painted around it where the new trim didn't match up. Then I decided to go around a touch up all the walls. Then I got a little bit crazy and I decided to paint my front door. It is the same color as the dark wall I painted a few months back. I really like it. I think it made the living room really homey. :) So while we were all busy I never laid Lane down for his nap. This is what I found. He cuddled up to big sis Mariah, and went right to sleep. She felt so special.

On Sunday, We had The Diddy's over for dinner. I had to share how cute the kids were. I made pumpkin bars (cake, Yummy! Clint's new favorite!) and I guess since it was cake, Lane and Hailey thought it was a birthday. So, we sang to all the kids. I think we sang and blew all the candles out 10 times. They are such a crack up. Always a fun time.:)

A Day of Remembering.....

Today is the day We remember My Dear Mother, not that we don't think of her everyday. It is just the day 14 years ago, that we lost her in a terrible car accident, and she went to be with Our Heavenly Father. You would think after 14 years this day would get easier, But it really just brings it all back like it was yesterday.

She holds a special place in every ones heart.

Today is My Sister Alysa's Birthday. I just thought I would share how special she is to me. I am gonna narrow it down to 5 reasons or we would be here all day.:)

1. She can always make me feel better when I am having a bad day!

2. We have been though so much together, Losing both Parents, she understands me, because she feels what I feel.

3. She loves my family unconditionally.

4. She gave me 3 awesome kids to be an Auntie to.

5. She spoils me like a Mom would. She is so giving and caring!!

This time it is Jordan. Yesterday, She hopped up on our fence, there was a nail sticking out, so when she jumped down her hand skimmed it and it cut her pretty good. This is her after the trip to the urgent care, feeling a lot better.

All my kids are out of school until Wednesday, Aunt Erica called and invited us to lunch. It was so beautiful out yesterday. So we got our lunch and headed to the park.

Cartwheel Competition

So after The Wrestling match we went to Jared and Lanette's house for dinner. We were just hanging out and We started a game, we went around the room and everyone had to say something weird we could do. Jared told us that he could do a cartwheel, That might not be weird for you, but have you ever seen someone OUR SIZE do a cartwheel. It was so hilarious. So we all had to try.

And then there was me, I used to be Cartwheel Queen, lol. But at first it was a little scary. I thought I was gonna break something. They made me tuck my shirt in. So I had to do a little dance. Here I am being a dork.

Clint had the camera, this is a picture of beginning of the first one. Lets just say, by the 5Th one I got better.

Here is Jared and Clint, They put on a show for us. I actually got a video of it, but I can't get it to work. So as soon as I figure it out, I will post it. Clint's form was amazing. (not in this picture, he said it was weird when they would do it at the same time, it was scary, lol)

Carter all in all had a good day at Wrestling yesterday. He had a win by points, a pin and He lost his last one. He took it pretty hard, and was pretty bummed when he lost, But like I say you win some and you lose some. He is still our little champ!

My little guy got his thumb smashed in the door yesterday. We thought it broke his finger too, but We think it is ok. It was so sad! He hasn't cried today unless it gets touched. But, now I have a one handed baby. He won't even use his hand. :(

It was a Happy Halloween!

It was a perfect night, no rain! We went to My cousins house and had dinner and then went around his neighborhood and Trick or Treated. The kids got soooo much candy. I couldn't believe how into it Lane was, the first house we went to the man opened the door with a mask and Lane got so scared. I thought he would be done right then, but instead he walked up to every door chanting NO MASK, NO MASK , NO MASK. It was so funny, he walked and kept up to the big kids the whole time. He is an amazing Newborn!!

It is official, our lives are devoted to wrestling once again. This is Carter's 2ND year, we are so impressed how much he remembered from last year, and I swear since he started school his attention span is so much longer. He is doing great. Clint is one of the coaches, so he gets lots of help. Our first match is on Sat, so I am sure I will have lots of pictures.

If any of you know me very well, you know I love to spoil people. Make cookies for others, watch kids, buy little things, do peoples laundry, etc. Well, I was so excited on Tuesday my cousin Jenny came over and made my kids more caramel apples (since they were such a big hit). She only had 2 hours before she had to pick up her kids and We got so much done. We made Popcorn balls, Sugar cookies, Monkey Munch, it was so much fun to have company making my Halloween treats. ( I wished you lived closer Alysa, I missed you!) I felt so spoiled, she is so thoughtful to come and make my kids apples. She got to see how quiet my house is too, just me and Lane, He was so excited to help too. He found his little spot on the counter and watched. Too cute, I wish you could of heard them talk to each other. Thanks for making the Thomas' feel special Jenny, We love you!!

Our Weekend.......

On Saturday, Clint had to work, so me and the kids went out to search for costumes for the girls at the good ol' Value Village. We figured every ones out and got that done. Then we headed to meet my sister Alysa and her family and Clint (since he got off work in time to see them too). They were on their way home (Everett) from Great Wolf Lodge, (Spoiled) so they meet us for some yummy Krispy Kremes in Southhill. It was so great to see them. As our kids get older I feel like we see each other less and less, because of sports and just life. So I will take what I can get.

On Sunday, The girls had a birthday party for a little girl from school. It was at the Spooners Pumpkin patch. So after the party we went and checked out the kiddy zone and the animals. It was one of the pumpkin patches that we had never been too, and it was really neat. The kiddy zone had duck races, area to make music (all different kinds of pots and pans), baby chickens, and rabbits. We enjoyed it. That is our last one for the year. Did that make 5?

Then we went to the Lawsons (Cousins) for some yummy Chili and fried bread. And to carve pumpkins. Jenny bought the cool kits to make different kind of faces. The kids did such a good job. I think It was the first year they could do it all by them selves. And they look great. We only had to help Lane.

Carter had to have a picture by himself. :)

Then all the kids made Caramel Apples. They were so tasty.

Friday Favorite!

OK, I never do Friday Favorites but I thought I would do one this week. This week is conference week at our school and Carter's teacher told me about the coolest website. It is for all ages, starting to learn letters all the way up to getting better at reading. Carter and Lane loved it. They sat in this position for 1 hour. Carter clicks it and Lane gets so excited and says what the picture is and the sounds of the letters. (I know in this picture his puppy is shoved into his mouth, it was out before I took the picture, lol) Lane is now walking around the house saying "L" "R" and then says "Letters". He is so proud. It is really neat. So I thought I would share. It is free, and really cute. Check it out.:)

Halloween party.

Yesterday morning the boys were invited to a Halloween party. They had so much fun. Little crafts, game and yummy lunch and cupcakes!

Everyone looked so cute! Lane was Dale the Race car driver! Carter was Spiderman! It is so funny though because Carter was Dale when he was two and I feel like I am looking at Carter. They look exactly the same. I will have to dig out pictures and show you.

Remlinger Farms here we come!!

So, like I said before, We like to hit up every Pumpkin patch around. Remlinger farms for sure is the best! It is like a carnival, you pay 15 dollars each to get in and you can do everything inside. Lots of rides, train ride to look at the animals, yummy food. It was a blast!

These bikes were so fun too, they rode them around the track.

Lane was a crack up, NO FEAR. He jumped right into the hay thing over and over. See him in action.:)

Since We had so much fun, we went back on Saturday with the Diddys. Clint and Carter were hunting again, so it was just Mariah, Jordan, Lane and me. It is always weird when Carter is gone. But we had fun, the girls were excited they got to go where Carter went on his field trip.

Last Tuesday we joined Carter's class and went to the Pumpkin Patch. It was really fun, I am really enjoying getting to know all the other parents.

My Cousin Lorri tagged me. Kristin she tagged you too, I am waiting!! She would like me to share 6 "quirky" things about myself.

This word Quirky has really got me stumped! I really don't know if these things are quirky. I have asked a few people what they would say, I do, that is quirky and I came to the conclusion that I just have a very obsessive personality. Everything I came up with that I thought was quirky, it would just fall back to the fact that it isn't that weird, but since I obsess about it, it becomes weird. Do you get it? Tell me what you think.:)

1. I have this thing about being on time. I will sometimes be 15 minutes early and wait in my car because I was afraid I might get stuck in traffic. If I am ever late check if Clint is with me, I swear he loves to make me late. I am only late if he is involved. The kids and I will wait in the car for him. I can get 4 kids and myself ready and he still is the last one ready. GRRR!

2. I love sauces and dips with my food. Sometimes I don't even think it is worth eating if I don't have my dip. 2 examples, I put french fry sauce( the mayo/ketchup combination) in my Tacos.
Like most people use sour cream I use fry sauce. And another food thing I do is, At a Mexican restaurant I put Sugar in my Salsa. It is so tasty, You know me, I love sweetness! But believe me, Everyone looks at me like I am a crazy woman!

3. In my back of my car, I have a full complete outfit for all 6 of us. You never know if you will need a change of clothes. What if a kid slips in the mud? Or Clint has to work on our car or Someone Else's car and gets wet or dirty? Or if I am holding a cute cuddly baby and it pukes or poops on me? You never know.

4. Laundry!!! I have this thing about LAUNDRY! It has to be done everyday. And when I say done I mean everything but what is on our backs. If I ever get behind, due to Camping or busy weekend, I will get up in the night and switch the loads and wake up before everyone and fold it. That is no big deal right? But when it gets weird is when I go to other peoples houses, and I see laundry I start doing it for them, weather it needs washed or folded or put away, I help myself, I feel like it calls my name. I almost don't even realize I do it, it is just 2ND nature.

5. My kids, I have some things that I think more obsessive than quirky but I will share.

I bathe my kids every morning. Even if they had a bath the night before, I have to bathe them in the morning. I am sure they might not even be dirty, but It is our routine and I stick to it. I feel like if not, they will not have a fresh start to the day.

I like my kids to always sleep in their own beds. I feel like everyone safe, sleeps better and is more rested in the morning. I am getting a little bit better with letting them spend the night with cousins,(as they get older) but I really don't care for it. Even if we are at home, I know a lot of people let their kids sleep in the living room or where ever. But If my kids fall asleep watching a movie I always carry them to their bed.

My kids have to wear undershirts. I feel like they look cleaner for some reason. I also think it make them stay warmer. They don't complain, they don't know any different. :) Weird I know!

Lane carries around a little blue puppy blanket, he sucks on it like a pacifier, and I am obsessed with it. He has 2 and I am so afraid to lose them. One has to be washed and one he gets to use. My cousins like to tease me with it and hide it. I swear it raises my blood pressure. I FREAK OUT if I don't know exactly where it is. I think I love it more than him. (Clint hates it and says he is too old. I tell him get used to it, he is a NEWBORN, and he will have it until he is 10.:))

6. I have a bed time routine. I have to wash my face ( and of course brush my teeth) before I go to bed. I have to have a large glass of ice water to drink on my night stand. Then when I get into bed I put on lip stuff, really thick, Like Kristin says, so it looks like I just ate fried chicken. Sexy I know! Then I pop my back. Then I rotate my pillow so it is cold on my ear. And I have to say, I can be asleep with in 5 minutes. I am sure because I am so OCD about all the above, I am exhausted!:)

So there you have it! I AM OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCING I AM A MORE FREAKISH THAN QUIRKY! I asked Clint what do I do that is weird, and he couldn't think of anything. I think he thinks everyone is just like me, Please don't tell him anything different. Tee hee. Are you sure you want to get to know me better, Lorri? I am crazy.

I just wanted to let you all know, that Thank Goodness for antibiotics!! He did have strep, Poor thing! But he is feeling much better. My happy NB (Newborn) is back!!

So, It is cold season again, all my kiddos have had a cold, but I swear the little guy always gets it the worst. It is so sad, his little runny nose made a turn for the worse. He started getting a sore throat on Sunday. I guess we were on the go a little to much. He has been waking up every hour for the last 2 nights with a fever and crying ouwie. So I took him in this morning, the Doc said it looks like strep throat, but the rapid read test came back negative. They swabbed his throat, gave him antibiotics and said they will call with the results.

Isn't it weird how you take for granted how easy life is, then when babies get sick everyone is tired and miserable. I just miss my newborn. I can't wait until he is better. I just thought I would share what I have been doing the last couple of days. I had to look at some pictures when he was happy.

My Weekend Without 2 of my guys!

Well, first thing Saturday morning we got this picture on a text, Lucky Matt got his Deer. He was so excited, His 1st buck!

We were just busy busy as always. I like to keep the kids busy when Daddy is gone, so they don't dwell on missing him. But I must say, 3 days without Carter is quiet, simple and lonely. I miss him, he is our laughter .:(

This is what kept us busy on Sat. night. Aunt Erica made sock puppets with the kids. They had so much fun putting on puppet shows. Thanks Erica!

On Sunday my cousins came over for breakfast and then we walked to the Pumpkin festival in Orting. There wasn't a whole lot to do, (well for free any how:)) But they did a couple of games and a hay dig for candy. Then of course play at the park. It is always fun with Cousin.:)

Well, it was a fun exhausting weekend. Lane fell asleep in the Target cart on the way to a birthday party. I am so lucky to have such a easy going kid.

Pumpkin Patch Fun!

We went to the Maris Farms pumpkin patch yesterday, It was KMPS 94 cent day, WAHOO!

That is a long time for him to not be babied by Mommy.
